Boehlen Packaging N.V. sells its subsidiary Bopack labels to the French industrial group Autajon
At the end of May 2009, Boehlen Packaging N.V. has sold its subsidiary Bopack labels to the French industrial group Autajon (www.autajon.fr)
Bopack Labels realized last year a consolidated turnover of 87 million Euro with 580 employees in six factories:
• Wommelgem (Belgium);
• Rouen, Straatsburg, Lorient and Bazouges (France);
• Zeist (the Netherlands).
Bopack Labels produces decorative labels for a.o. consumer goods and works a.o. for L’Oréal, Procter & Gamble and Jonhson & Johnson.
The French group Autajon is specialized in the manufacturing of cardboard luxury packaging for the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry at the one hand and labels for the wine industry at the other hand.
The majority shareholder of the holding Boehlen Packaging NV will – as a consequence of the above mentioned transaction – buy out the financial investors, of which Sofindev.
